This past weekend was notorious Santa Cruz when it came to weather. A little mix of fog and rain on Saturday followed by a Sunday of traditional California sunshine. We’re used to that at this point, but it got us thinking: What’s the ideal hair for such unpredictable weather? Instead of just throwing on a hat, what can we do with hair that makes it work rain or shine?
Our questions brought us to the skin fade. Short and versatile enough to be slick in any environment. The skin fade crosses all sorts of boundaries - age, color, and walks of life. Made famous by the standards of the US military in the 1940’s and ‘50’s, the skin fade rocks minimal hair on all sides, slowly leading up to your desired length on top, ranging from a fraction of an inch to one or two or three inches.
If you want to come on by, leave the hat at home, and let us give you a fade then make an appointment by clicking here. Take it anywhere and to any event - you’ll be good to go.
